Description
ΠληροφορίεςThe mirror was one of the precious beauty tools. It is a personal object with a long-life span, which was placed as an offering mainly in women' s burials to accompany its owner into her afterlife.
This type of mirror is very common in the Aegean and Cyprus, appearing in the Cypriot-Archaic II period from 600 to 475 BC and continuing during the Cypriot-Classical period from 475 to 312 BC. Typical parallels of this mirror come from excavated sets of accessories found in Palaipaphos, Amathus, and elsewhere.
